My sister LeAnne (Manager of LOP) got our Annual Battle of the Bands started back about 13 years ago! The Battle is her "Baby".....lol. The entire LOP staff work very hard to prepare for this day, but it's LeAnne who really makes "The Battle of the Bands" an event to remember! I will certainly let her know about the wonderful comments you all have posted and thank you, thank you, & thank you! You can't have a great campground event without great campers!

- Hey Laurie and everybody at LOP can't wait until the Halloween weekend we are ready for another GREAT weekend at LOP. My kids love the count down so they could see how long they have left to go back. We stopped in at the battle of bands and yes it rained but you just have to have fun anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This was my 2nd time at LOP for the Battle of the Bands and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the weekend. Made alot of new friends. LSU WON, Yeah, Geaux Tigers!!!!!. It rained but even the slop couldn't have stopped the FUN. If we could have a 2 Day Battle of the Bands, it would be GREAT!!!!!! Maybe split up in categories....have 2 Winners. 1st Day-Country Bands, Blues, Bluegrass, Cajun, etc., 2nd Day-Rock & Roll, Variety, Dance Music, etc. Maybe have a visit by a cartoon character for the kids. This would be a definite weekend not to be missed. 'Til this time next year.......Hope ya'll come back next year......Nadine, aka ( the ole fine bikini lady formerly from da parish).

Hey Laurie, We will be camping Labor Day w/e the girls want to know if the booth for air brushed tattoos is going set up this year? I hope your dad and Jeanne are doing better. Can't wait to see everyone. Ya know I've been to every Battle of the Bands but, This year I'm not working
